Since its founding in 1990 Faith Christian Academy has been providing quality Christian education to young people from the Rio Grande Valley.
Our K4-12th grade Christian school serves the Palmhurst, Mission, Edinburg, and McAllen, TX areas of the Rio Grande Valley. We are a college-preparatory school that seeks to educate young people from a biblical perspective and to aid parents in training their children to love and serve Jesus Christ.
The Spring Concert will be held in the Faith Baptist Church Auditorium on May 15th at 7pm.
Please note that there is a change in the school calendar. These changes are due to the storm that caused us to miss a week of school.
-School will now be ending on Wednesday, June 6.
-Kindergarten Graduation will now take place on Monday, June 4th.
-Senior Graduation will now take place on Tuesday, June 5th.
-Spring Concert will be May 15, 2012.
Thank you for being understanding as we adjust the schedule to compensate for the time missed because of the storm. We anticipate having a great ending to the school year and hope each student accomplished his/her academic goals.
Have you gotten your tickets yet? The Spring Play and Gala are right around the corner on Friday, April 20th @6:30pm. The play that will be performed this year is Murder at Cafe Noir by David Landau. This is an interactive play where the audience participates in determining the outcome of the play. Come enjoy a great evening with your family as you try to figure out “who did it”.
Hello Parents, school will resume Tuesday, April 10th. I hope your children enjoyed their time off and are ready to resume their academic instruction first thing Tuesday morning.
We are pleased to announce that the restoration of the high school classrooms are coming along nicely. We have hired and professional water damage restoration company to take the lead in the clean up. Because of the unusual elements of the storm that hit last week, it caused water to come into our high school classrooms. The water is now be taken out and the school will be thoroughly inspected for your child’s safety. I would like to invite all school parents for an informational meeting this Thursday, April 5th at 6:30 pm. This will be to share the latest progress on the school and to answer any questions you might have. Thank you for you prayers and support for the school. Let me also encourage you to pray for the other families in our school as many took severe damage to their homes and businesses because of the hail storm.
School will remain closed until after Easter Break and resume on Tuesday, April 10th.
Dear Parents,
This is to inform you that we will be cancelling school for Monday, April 2nd. This is due to the freak thunders storm and hail storm we experienced this past Thursday. We know many of you received damage to your house or car and we hope it wasn’t too bad. The school had several classrooms that took on considerable amounts of water. At this time, we are trying to get the classrooms back to normal and anticipate resuming class on Tuesday, April 3rd. Although this brings an unexpected change and expense on the school, we are excited to see how God works this out. Please keep the school in your prayers as we seek God’s provision at this time.
On a quick side note, the rain on Thursday night came at a perfect time as we had just put down the seed for the soccer field. God used one of the school parents to provide the grass seed which was put in last Wednesday and then he sent the rain on Thursday to water it. I guess that means that God is a soccer fan:-)

We have decided to cancel school today, March 30, 2012, due to the flooded roads and storm damage.
Faith Christian Academy is proud to announce the 2012 Couple’s Retreat by FCA’s parent ministry, Faith Baptist Church. This will be a great time to get away with your spouse and be challenged in building a strong marriage and family. The speaker for this event is Dr. Marty Von.
